We get our dirty little hands on Dead or Alive 2 the supposed Soul Calibur Killer and our results will not please all. Why? Well everything is nice and all but it but you'll find it gets boring fast and very repetitive.

As for the control, it was a little non for giving as the camera was pissing me off. I'm being serious here, why can't companies make decent cameras that doesn't piss us gamers off. Control was easy but when you get close to the walls the camera makes everything disorientating. I am really getting pissed though, companies need to fix camera problems.

The sound effects was rather nice. Plain and simple, it fit the mood. No real noticeable skips or anything to complain about. As for the music some of the stages music just kicked ass. I can’t remember which ones but damn that was nice. As for the other stages music it was okay but nothing to wonderful.

The replay value is another thing that sucks ass. You get way bored way to fast. Soul Calibur was superior in most ways as you actually had some hidden characters as well as other modes and VMU games etc. In Dead or Alive 2 you only get a few extra characters that are not to hard to get. Also the game was rather easy to beat. Its no real challenge.

Overall it was a good shot, but as my saying goes "Graphics don’t make a game." While the graphics were nice the rest of the game is a typical fighting game. No real fun after the first 30 minutes. If Chu Chu Rocket, a simple concept 2-D game can keep you there for hours why can’t this?

Graphics: 98 They were superior to Soul Calibur but just by a bit. Still beautiful.
Sound: 89Clear, and crisp. But it sounds a tad to simple. Some stages music kick though.
Control: 82The camera makes control a hassle. Don’t get stuck by walls. Controls just fine though.
Replay: 73 A stereotypical style fighting game. Enough said.
Overall : 87 A good shot but no cigar. Could have been better. Way better. But still fun for now..
