First, the graphics were ungodly. They kicked way too much ass: smooth, real-time backgrounds with cool lighting effects. My god, I thought I had seen the best graphics with DOA2, Soul Calibur and Sonic Adventure but this just put any of those games to shame. The characters were also nicely modeled and moved like real humans (no more Blue Stinger walking Yeah!). Games have come a long way and this shows the power the Dreamcast has. There's not one cause for complaint. ![]() MDK2 seemed to have controlled well. It had the same control as Slave Zero (DC) which kept the PC feel. This allowed for free movement and made things great from the begining. Though for beginers, who have yet to experience this, it can be hard and frustrating. The Sound FX were superb. There were no skips, nothing gets real annoying, and again there are no cause for complaints. This game could have used a better soundtrack and some more voice overs, though. ![]() The Replay value is another good thing. As I said above, you can play as three characters. That makes things all too great, with the addition of secret levels, more weapons, and much more. So, you'll be stuck for a while... a long while. MDK2, overall, is one of the best games aviable to date. With so many good games out right now there's no excuse not to own a Dreamcast. Now, you just need to see what game best fits your fancy. If you like to shoot things this ones for you!
