Sonic Adventure Box
He's back, our little blue king - Sonic! This time he appers in full 3D. Sonic is out to save the world agian from evil Dr. Roboticnic (Eggman) and collect the Chaos crystals. The game had beautiful graphics and nice game play but was plauged with a few minor problems as I'll discuss below.
Genre:Puzzle
Developer: Sonic Team
Publisher: Sega
Available:9.9.99
Format:1 GD-Rom
Players: 1-2

Sonic and his pals all look good (except Big the Cat). They are all detailed nicely. But the one part that made me ahhh was the action stages. All were pretty much fast paced and look awosome. The detail was amazing. This in my opion was the best looking of all the launch games.

Screen

The control was for the most part pretty straight foward and easy to use. The only real cause for complaint was the camera. It would screw you up when you get close to walls. For example you're walking foward and the camera switches and now you're walking backwards. This cost me a few lives.

Screen

The sound? Well its great the first time around but after that the music gets annoying. I'm not sure if you can turn the music off but if you can you might want to. The in game sound though was very nice. Collecting rings and other stuff was good with no cause for complaint.

The replay value is nice, racing Chaos, getting Super Sonic, downloading Chaos and other stuff is real nice. Plus you might just want to play it all over agian.

All in all Sonic Adventure is a damn good game. The only minior problems are cheesy voice acting and the occasional camera problems. That in no way means you should not purchase the game. Sonic Team did one hell of a job!

Graphics: 96 Next to Soul Calibur these are probably the best you'll get now.
Sound: 82 Music gets repeative quickly. But in game sounds were wonderful.
Control: 86 The camera problems make the game frustrating in some areas.
Replay: 92 More than likly you'll want to play it all over agian and collcet everything.
Overall : 93 A wonderful game. This is the equalivent to Mario on the NIntendo 64.
