The graphics were nice, but were not incedible. They could have pushed the system a bit more. Other than that all can say the characters could have used a bit more detail and a bit more light would have been appericated. Also as with most Dreamcast games it could have used a better camera. Its very hard to see when you are in some tight spaces. ![]() The sound was very mediocre. The game is plauged with bad voice acting, but its better than Sonic Adventure. The music sucked. Way to peppy for a game like this. While its supposed to be about dead zombies its more like a rock concert. The sounds of the guns on the other hand are clear and crisp. The machine gun sounds way good, as do most of the other weapons. The control was okay. Not to much to brag about. Aiming is the only really bad part. For exaple you want to shoot a zombie 10 yards away it takes time and patience. Running though a stage dodging zombies and shooting them is very hard, if not impossible. The multiplayer is nice. Its co-op (as you'd expect from a house of the dead game). A deathmatch would have been nice but no luck. Damn. Even worse here is that 3 players are selectable only 2 can play. Talk about crap. The Replay value is nice but in the end falls short. Like all House of the Dead games there are multiple paths to take. Thats a nice feature but the lack of VMU mini games, and deathmatch multiplayer really take away from this. ![]() In the end Sega gives a good shot of bringing House of the Dead to the 3D world, but falls short. The game could have been more but warrents no more than a rental as you only get about 2 hours before you get the game.
